Most AI engineers just needs to know how to direct AI to accomplish tasks

I think software engineers no longer need to write code themselves; they can use AI to do it. However, they must conduct quality control, which means they need to understand the code and review it. They also need to be familiar with the architecture. In other words, they must know how to instruct AI and define their requirements. If they can provide clear, precise, complete, and correct goals, AI will assist them in completing their tasks while maintaining high quality. This approach applies to front-end, back-end, data, cybersecurity, and more. Otherwise, only a few companies are focused on creating super AI, like OpenAI, Meta, Gemini, DeepSeek, etc. Most companies just need engineers who know how to direct AI to accomplish tasks.
