What is AI Agent

This semester, I'm studying database fundamentals at university. Our lecturer encouraged us to consider NOSQL. As I delved deeper into NOSQL and metadata, I started to see connections with AI Agents. For instance, AI Agents can effectively utilize the current database to create a highly user-friendly front end, accurately validate user inputs, and precisely predict future states. A desirable future state might be the anticipated outcomes for machine users. Various agents specialize in different areas, which is likely why they are referred to as agents. These agents are essentially different mathematical models, such as Markov chains, each trained to excel at solving a specific type of problem. That's my understanding of AI Agents.
